A client of mine who is very talented in wood carving made this for me over the past 4 weeks while I was laid up with two avulsion fractures in my left ankle. His name is Mike Richards. Mike is a Vietnam Veteran who spent a lot of time as a crewman on C-123s delivering mail, supplies, and personnel to remote outposts and fire bases in South Vietnam, including Khe Sahn. He is a great guy and I am extremely humbled that he thought enough of me to do this.
